The workshop will introduce you to the close-up world of Macro Photography. We’ll explain what Macro Photography is, what are good subjects and what equipment you need to get started as well and demo a wide variety of other gear for you to try. Once familiar with the topic during the initial classroom session, the Workshop group will head outside (weather permitting) for a field shoot. Finally we will return to the classroom to do a demo of post processing your image for capturing that stunning close-up world. Come and enjoy a foray into the tiny world around us.
What to bring: DSLR camera and memory chip, if you have macro lens or other macro gear already definitely bring that, outdoor gear appropriate for locale and weather, notebook to take notes, laptop (optional) for post processing follow-along in Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop.
Coffee and donuts will be provided for all sessions. Lunch is only included in the $125.00 session from a delivery or take out restaurant such as Jimmy Johns. Pre-meal selection will be provided upon registration confirmation. Locations will vary within the Southern Utah and Northern Nevada and Arizona corridor. Indoor only sessions available upon request.
We have current permits from Bureau of Land Management and National Park Service for any locations we go to for our Workshops. Fully insured.
